How to apply for PNB Debit Card?

  • All PNB customers who are have Savings Bank accounts or Current accounts and are above 18 years of age are eligible for the PNB Bank International Debit cum ATM Card.
  • If a user does not have PNB Savings account or Current account, Then one must first open a account in PNB branch.
  • User can apply for PNB Debit Card while opening a saving account or current account with the bank, or the user can apply for it later as well once his bank account is opened by filling out the application form for the card and submit it to the bank branch.
  • After this between 7 to 10 working days bank customer will receive PNB ATM cum debit card at his registered address.
  • After this bank customer can collect the PIN number for the card from the branch or Bank would send PIN at registered address through seperate post.
  • Now Finally customer, can avail PNB banking facility at any of PNB Bank network ATM or through other bank ATM.
  • Eligible customers having no debit card in the account can apply through SMS ( DEBCARD 16 DIGIT A/C NUMBER>) at 5607040 by their registered mobile No.

Benefits of holding PNB Debit Card

  • There is no admission charge on processing charge on the debit card. The card will be absolutely free of cost for the first year, and from the second year onwards a small amount of Rs. 75 will be charged as a service charge.

PNB Debit Card Eligibililty

Who are eligible for PNB Classic Debit Card :
  • All KYC compliant saving and Current Account holders who maintain the minimum balance and who regularly operate their account are eligible for a PNB Debit Card.
  • New customers are eligible for a PNB Debit Card at the time of opening the account.
  • Debit cards are also issued to individual customers having an overdraft facility, which is in the nature of a personal loan. This shall mean and include personal loans extended to individual customers in the form of a regular overdraft limit such as clean overdraft facility or overdraft facility against FD/NSCs/LICs etc. where operations through cheques are permitted.
  • Debit Card can be issued in Joint Accounts with "Either or Survivor"/"Former or Survivor" mandate. In "Either or Survivor" accounts, Cards can be issued to both the account holders whereas in "Former or Survivor" accounts card can be issued only to the Former. In joint Accounts where account has to be jointly operated Debit Card shall not be issued unless mandate for operation of account specifies "Either or Survivor" or "Former or Survivor".
  • Kissan Cash Credit account holders are eligible for Kissan Cards.

Uphaar Card is a gift card to be used by purchaser for personal use or for gifting purpose.

Suvidha Card is a pre-paid card to be used by the purchaser for their personal usage or a card that can be used by Corporates for making payment of salary/incentives/bonus etc. to their employees or for any other purpose apart from giving out as gifts.

RuPay PMJDY

  • Under Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana, PMJDY cards are issued to SBBDA account holders. The main objective of PMJDY card issuance is to achieve financial inclusion inclusion by providing maximum benefits like digital services through cards, free insurance facility and cashless convenience etc. to the customers.
  • This is a RuPay Classic Card.
  • The daily Cash limit is Rs.25000/- and POS transaction limit is Rs.60 000/-A
  • Accidental Death cover of Rs. 1 lac is available.

RuPay KISAN

  • This is RuPay Classic debit card and is issued to KCC customers for use only in India.
  • Daily Cash limit Rs.25000/- and POS transaction limit Rs.60 000/-
  • Accidental Death cover of Rs. 1 lac is available.

MUDRA

  • RuPay MUDRA is a non personalized co-branded card along with MUDRA (Micro Units Development and Refinance Agency) Bank Ltd and issued on RuPay platform. MUDRA debit card is launched under PMMY (Prime Minister MUDRA Yojna) and will help the borrower access credit in flexible manner to meet their working capital needs.
  • Objective : To provide access to the working capital facility account to small micro units through MUDRA Ltd. and partner Bank.
Benefits :
  • Can be used to draw cash from any ATM or BC or make purchases using PoS terminal.
  • Has the facility to repay the amount as and when the surplus is available thereby reducing the interest burden and can be used to repay the amount using the Bank channel.
  • E-Commerce transactions.
Features :
  • Cash withdrawal on ATMs up to Rs 25,000/- per day however per withdrawal limit of Rs. 15,000/- at PNB ATMs and Rs. 10,000/- at other Bank ATMs. POS/E-commerce (combined) transactions limit up to Rs 60,000/- per day.
  • Annual charges (presently @ Rs 100 /- + service tax) would be levied on each card issued, after one year of the card issuance.

RuPay SAMAGRA

  • As per the direction of Govt. of Madhya Pradesh, RuPay Debit Cards are issued to customers under Samagra Scheme. This RuPay Debit Card is Bi-lingual and is being issued in Madhya Pradesh under PMJDY. These cards are to be issued only in Madhya Pradesh state.
  • This card can be issued in SBBDA accounts opened under Samagra scheme in Madhya Pradesh.
  • Daily Cash limit Rs.25000/- and POS transaction limit Rs.60 000/-
  • Accidental Death cover of Rs. 1 lac as applicable for RuPay Classic Card.
 

RuPay BHAMASHAH

  • As per the direction of Govt. of Rajasthan, the RuPay Debit Cards are being issued under Bhamashah scheme. These cards are to be issued only in Rajasthan state.
  • This card can be issued in SBBDA accounts opened under Bhamashah scheme in Rajasthan.
  • Daily Cash limit Rs.25000/- and POS transaction limit Rs.60 000/-
  • Accidental Death cover of Rs. 1 lac as applicable for RuPay Classic Card.
 

PUNGRAIN HSAMB ARTHIYA

  • Our bank has participated in the project for grain procurement of the Haryana Government as an issuer and acquirer Bank Under this project we are launching cards for Arthias of Mandis of Haryana State Agricultural Board. These cards can be used by Arthias at selected RuPay enabled PoS terminals identified by NPCI for receiving direct payment from procurement agencies of Punjab Government as well as for cash withdrawal at ATMs & PoS Transactions.
The salient features of these cards are as under:
  • This card will be magnetic strip card.
  • Cash withdrawal will be through RuPay enabled ATMs only
  • Card and PIN both are required at ATM and PoS terminals for operation of the card.
  • Can be used only in India for :

PUNGRAIN KISAN

  • Our bank has been participating in the “Project for Food grain procurement through electronic remittance of Punjab Government as an issuer and acquirer Bank” since the last crop season w.e.f April, 2013. Under this project we have already launched Personalised Pungrain RuPay Debit cards for Arthias of designated Mandis of Punjab Government in the first phase. In the second phase, we are now launching Personalised Pungrain RuPay Kisan Cards for farmers. These cards can be used by farmers at selected RuPay enabled PoS terminals identified by NPCI for receiving direct payment from procurement agencies of Punjab Government as well as for cash withdrawal at ATMs & PoS Transactions.
The salient features of these cards are as under:
  • This card will be magnetic strip card.
  • Card can be issued to farmers having KCC limit/Saving Fund Account/Current Account in the bank.
  • Cash withdrawal through RuPay enabled ATMs only.

In case of loss/theft of PNB debit card, the Cardholder shall immediately Block/Hotlist his /her card to avoid any misuse for safety reason through following channels:
